Class Description:
Rewire your brain and regulate your nervous system with novel movement, vagal nerve stimulation, and mindful practices. This science-backed class helps you break free from chronic pain, stress, and unhelpful patterns while fostering new neural pathways for healing, recovery, and emotional resilience. It’s especially beneficial for those recovering from brain injuries, chronic conditions, or trauma, offering tools to support neuroplasticity and optimize healing.

  • Healing and Recovery: Enhance the brain’s ability to adapt after injuries, including brain trauma, or address chronic conditions.
  • Vagal Nerve Stimulation: Regulate stress responses, improve digestion, and promote calm.
  • Breaking Old Patterns: Use novel movements to disrupt chronic pain patterns and create healthier neural connections.
  • Resilience and Growth: Build emotional regulation, reduce anxiety, and enhance self-awareness.

What to Expect:

  • Warm-Up: Gentle, rhythmic movements and breathwork to activate the vagus nerve and prepare the body for healing.
  • Core Session:
    • Novel Movement: Creative, engaging exercises to challenge coordination and “unstick” old patterns.
    • Cross-Body Exercises: Enhance brain hemisphere communication and motor control.
    • Somatic Exploration: Slow, mindful movements to rebuild pathways affected by injury or chronic patterns.
    • Play! Fun and safe social stimulation are facilitators for brain healing, neuroplasticity, and growth. 
  • Vagal Activation Practices: Humming, chanting, and gentle stretches to calm the nervous system and aid recovery.
  • Mindful Integration: Restorative poses and guided imagery to solidify healthier connections and promote relaxation.
  • Closing Circle: Reflect, connect with the group, and set intentions for continued growth.
