Float & Restore: A Playful Aerial Yoga Experience

Step into the hammock, let go of expectations, and explore movement in a way that feels light, freeing, and deeply restorative. Float & Restore is an accessible aerial yoga class designed for play, connection, and ease. Whether you’re brand new to aerial or an experienced yogi looking for a different kind of practice, this class offers a space to explore, connect, and move in ways that feel good for your body.

Using a combination of aerial hammocks, bolsters, and blankets, we’ll guide you through supported postures like floating bridge, baby shrimp, and cocooned savasana—encouraging deep relaxation, decompression of stiff joints, and a sense of effortless weightlessness. Unlike traditional yoga classes where silence is expected, this is a space for conversation, curiosity, and connection. You’re invited to laugh, ask questions, opt out, or modify as we guide you through the practice with plenty of options to make it uniquely fit your needs.

Come as you are, leave feeling lighter, restored, and maybe even a little more like a younger version of yourself!

Olivia Roberson, RYT-500

I am passionate about creating a welcoming space where everyone can reconnect with their inherent wholeness. With over 600 hours of yoga training, including a 300-hour certification in Foundations of Yoga Therapy, I specialize in therapeutic yoga for emotional well-being, physical healing, and stress relief. As a mental health professional in my second year of graduate studies in clinical counseling, I integrate mindfulness, Buddhist philosophy, and a deep understanding of the mind-body connection into my teaching, fostering balance and compassion both on and off the mat.

At MoveWell Collective, I offer yoga classes and workshops that promote healing, self-awareness, and community. My experience at Yale and the University of Connecticut has shaped my focus on integrating yoga into wellness programs, including supporting individuals with trauma and chronic pain. Let’s explore practices that inspire healing, connection, and inner peace together.
