The instructors
Move Well Collective

This unique class blends the mindful flow of yoga with the empowering techniques of martial arts to cultivate flexibility, balance, strength, coordination, body awareness, and practical self-defense skills.

We’ll begin with a grounding vinyasa practice to calm the mind, warm up the body, and build foundational movement patterns. From this base, we’ll integrate martial arts techniques—such as basic strikes, kicks, and blocks—into dynamic flows that feel both intuitive and powerful. Techniques will be taught through demonstration, traditional instruction, and organically through expanded vinyasa sequences.

To build confidence and skill, we’ll use safe and supportive formats like partner drills and situational exercises that prepare you for self-defense. Each class will wind down with a blend of yin yoga, myofascial release, and/or breathwork (pranayama) to ease muscle tension, improve circulation, and regulate the nervous system.

All levels welcome. No martial arts experience is needed. A basic familiarity with yoga is helpful but not required—just bring curiosity, a willingness to move, and an open mind.
